Project: Refurbishment of Main Hall

This major project was to totally re-design & upgrade the Main Hall at the school, a space that had remained largely unaltered since the school was built in the 1950’s.

The Brief from the school was to give them the facilities to enable them to seat 230 people & stage productions

The project included:

• Upgrading the insulation to the walls of the building
• Cladding the internal walls with new plasterboard
• Supply & installation of a new heating/cooling system
• Supply & installation of a new suspended ceiling (280m2) c/w acoustic tiling
• Supply & installation of new LED Lighting located in the suspended ceiling
• Decoration throughout
• Renovation of an existing wood block floor
• Alterations to the Stage with the inclusion of two sets of hardwood steps
• Supply & installation of powered Retractable Seating
• Construction & installation of a raised platform to enable sound & lighting control
• Design, Supply & installation of new Sound & Lighting systems c/w all controls
• Supply & installation of a new Projector mounted on overhead lighting bar
• Supply & installation of new stage drapes
